Mike Shaft is one of Greater Manchester’s best known broadcasters. He set up his own station Sunset Radio, and appeared on 80s daytime BBC1 show Open Air.
Brought up in Denton, Mike DJ-ed in classic Manchester clubs like Rafters and Pips before literally talking himself into his first radio job – at Piccadilly Radio.
